A holiday cheese spread for crackers that is made with orange jello, sharp cheddar cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, scallions, parsley, horseradish, and Worcestershire sauce.

2 4-serving-size Jell-O brand orange gelatin
1 1/2 cups boiling water
8 oz (2 1/2 cups) finely grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 8-oz pkg cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chopped scallions
1/4 cup chopped parsley
3 Tbsp horseradish
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
- Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl with electric mixer until well blended. Gradually blend into gelatin.
- Pour gelatin mixture into mold. Chill until firm, about 3 hours.
- Unmold. Serve as an appetizer with crackers. Garnish with parsley and carrot curls, if desired. Makes 5 1/2 cups.
