Ham rolled up with chive and onion cream cheese and a pickle.
-By Christine (Salzer) Strommen
½ lb of deli-sliced honey ham (or any thinly sliced ham)
1 small container chive and onion cream cheese
1 small jar baby kosher pickles
- Lay slices of ham out on a cutting board. Spread a generous amount (about 1/8 of an inch thick) of cream cheese onto each ham slice.
- Cut the baby pickles in half and lay them on the smaller edge of the ham slice (if rectangular) and cut the ham in a strip the same width as the pickle half.
- Roll pickle up in the ham. You can secure with a decorative toothpick, but it’s not necessary. The cream cheese will hold them together.
- Repeat until you run out of one of the ingredients.
