Ham Roll-Ups

30 Oct

Ham rolled up with chive and onion cream cheese and a pickle.

-By Christine (Salzer) Strommen

Ingredients:

½ lb of deli-sliced honey ham (or any thinly sliced ham)
1 small container chive and onion cream cheese
1 small jar baby kosher pickles

Directions:

  1. Lay slices of ham out on a cutting board. Spread a generous amount (about 1/8 of an inch thick) of cream cheese onto each ham slice.
  2. Cut the baby pickles in half and lay them on the smaller edge of the ham slice (if rectangular) and cut the ham in a strip the same width as the pickle half.
  3. Roll pickle up in the ham. You can secure with a decorative toothpick, but it’s not necessary. The cream cheese will hold them together.
  4. Repeat until you run out of one of the ingredients.
