Blueberry Nut Bread

Blueberry bread with chopped walnuts.

1 package Duncan Hines Blueberry Muffin Mix
1 cup fresh blueberries
1/3 cup chopped nuts
3 Tbsp sugar
1 egg
½ cup and 1 Tbsp water


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease and flour a 9X5X3 inch pan.
  2. Empty blueberries into strainer. Wash under cold running water. Set aside to drain.
  3. In a medium-sized bowl, combine all ingredients except the blueberries; mix until well blended. Gently fold in drained blueberries. Spread batter in prepared pan.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for about 10 minutes and then remove from pan.
