Buttermilk Coleslaw

ButtermilkColeslaw A sweet and tangy coleslaw made with cabbage, carrots, onions, and buttermilk.

8 cups shredded cabbage
1/4 cup shredded carrot
2 Tbsp minced onion
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup buttermilk
2 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 1/2 Tbsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper


  1. Combine the mayonnaise, sugar, milk, buttermilk, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, and pepper in a large bowl with a whisk until smooth.
  2. Add the cabbage, carrots, and onions, and mix well.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
