An orange-banana Jell-O salad made with orange Jell-O, orange slices, pecans, banana, celery, and sour cream.

2 3-oz pkgs or 1 6-oz pkg Orange gelatin
2 cups boiling water
1 cup sour cream
3/4 cup cold water
1 tsp lemon juice
10 orange sections
5 pecan halves
1/2 cup diced orange sections
1/2 cup diced banana
1/2 cup finely-chopped celery
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Measure 1 cup and blend in sour cream; chill until slightly thickened.
- Add cold water and lemon juice to remaining gelatin; chill until slightly thickened.
- Arrange orange sections and pecan halves in mold. Spoon thickened clear gelatin over fruit and nuts in mold.
- Fold diced orange, banana, and celery into sour cream mixture. Spoon over clear gelatin. Chill until firm – at least 4 hours. Makes 10 servings.
