Cucumbers and onions marinated in a creamy sauce.

2-3 long, firm, slim cucumbers
Salted ice water
1/2 cup sour cream
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp vinegar
1 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 small onion, thinly sliced and chopped
- Slice cucumbers thinly. Drop into salted ice water and let stand for 1 hour. Drain thoroughly.
- Cover with sour cream, lemon juice, vinegar, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
- Add onion and mix well. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
