Sliced smoked turkey kielbasa, slow cooked with onions, green pepper, celery, garlic, beans, tomatoes, zucchini, carrots, and crushed red pepper in a chicken broth.

½ lb smoked turkey kielbasa, sliced
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 celery rib with leaves, thinly sliced
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 14.5-oz cans chicken broth
1 15.5-oz can great northern beans, rinsed and drained
1 14.5-oz can stewed tomatoes, cut up
1 small zucchini, sliced
1 medium carrot, shredded
1 Tbsp dried parsley flakes
¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
¼ tsp pepper
- In a nonstick skillet, cook kielbasa over medium heat until lightly browned.
- Add the onion, green pepper, celery and garlic. Cook and stir for 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
- Transfer to a slow cooker. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours.
