Baked Spaghetti

Spaghetti with Italian sausage, onions, garlic and lots of cheddar cheese baked into a casserole. This is a Strommen family favorite on a Fall day.

1 box of spaghetti, broken into thirds, cooked and drained.
1 lg. can of tomato sauce
1/3 Can of water
1 lb. or less Italian sausage, cooked (bulk or squeezed out of skin)
1 onion chopped
1 pkg. shredded cheddar (about 2 1/4 C.)
Garlic and pepper to taste.


  1. Cook spaghetti and drain well.
  2. In large greased casserole or 9 X 13 pan, pour in tomato sauce and add about 1/3 can of water and mix well.
  3. Mix in all other ingredients. Save some of the cheese to sprinkle on top of the casserole.
  4. Bake 350 until heated through and cheese is melted. About 45 min.
