Italian Meat Rolls

ItalianMeatRolls Thinly sliced minute steak rolled up with slices of mortadella and fontina cheese, wrapped with pancetta and pan-fried in butter.

Ingredients:

8 slices mortadella
8 slices minute steak
8 slices Fontina cheese
8 slices pancetta
2 Tbsp butter
salt to taste

Directions:

  1. Lay a slice of mortadella on each slice of steak. Place a slice of Fontina on top of the mortadella. Roll each slice up.
  2. Wrap in a slice of pancetta and secure with a cocktail stick.
  3. Melt the butter in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the steak rolls and cook, turning often, for 8-10 minutes, or until cooked through.
  4. Season with salt. Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
