Italian sausage links simmered with green peppers and onions, served on hoagie rolls.

6 Italian Sausages
2 Green Peppers, sliced
1 large onion, sliced
- Cook sausage in water (about a half-inch) covered, turning as needed. Part way through cooking, poke holes in sausage to release grease. Add green pepper and onion until tender. Do not allow water to evaporate – may need to add a little water during cooking.
- Place a little juice from the pan to both sides of the hoagie roll, add sausage, peppers and onions.
