Spare Ribs and Sauerkraut

Pork spare ribs boiled with sauerkraut, onions, and caraway seeds.

1 large onion
Pork Spare Ribs, fatty
1 large can sauerkraut
1 Tbsp caraway seeds
1 potato, grated


  1. Cover the pork spare ribs with water. Season water with salt, pepper and a touch of garlic. Cook until just tender about 5 minutes.
  2. Take meat from water. Add sauerkraut, caraway seeds, onion, and grated potato. Cook for 20 minutes.
  3. Place meat in with kraut and cook for 30 minutes.
