Italian sausage and mozzarella cheese-stuffed manicotti baked in a mushroom spaghetti sauce.

1 box manicotti Shells
1 lb. Italian sausage
1 onion chopped
1 package shredded mozzarella (any size)
2 jars (15oz) marinara or mush. spaghetti sauce
1/2 C. water
1/4 C. grated parmesan or Romano
- Brown sausage and onion together. Mix in mozzarella. Let cool enough so you can handle it with your hands.
- Stuff uncooked shells with mixture. Spread 1/2 jar sauce in greased 9X13 baking pan.
- Arrange manicotti. Pour remaining sauce and water over manicotti. Cover tightly.
- Bake in 350 oven 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 -20 minutes longer or until tender. Sprinkle grated cheese over the top and serve.
