A Hungarian-style dumpling served with butter.

1/2 cup water
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
butter to taste
- Beat eggs in bowl; stir in water. Add flour, salt, and baking powder all at once; beat thoroughly.
- Drop by small tsp-full into rapidly boiling water (salted). Cook until all dumplings rise.
- Drain, rinse in cold water, and drain again. Stir in melted butter and serve.
