Creole Rice

NoFoodImage A quick and simple creole rice made with Minute Rice, stewed tomatoes, and bacon.

4 strips bacon, diced
1 16-oz can stewed tomatoes
1 cup water
1 1/2 cups Minute Rice


  1. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove all but 2 Tbsp drippings.
  2. Add tomatoes and water. Bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in rice. Cover, remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
  4. Makes 6 servings. Serve with chicken or ham.
