NoFoodImage A simple pilaf recipe that uses rice, egg noodles, beef broth, and butter.

1/2 cup fine egg noodles, broken into pieces
2 Tbsp butter
1 cup beef broth
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup raw rice


  1. Brown noodles in butter. Stir often.
  2. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Bring to a boil. Cover; cook over low heat 20-25 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
