A Strommen family favorite cookie to have for Christmas. This almond-flavored butter cookie is filled with raspberry preserves to make a treat that melts in your mouth.

1 cup butter
¼ cup sugar
1 tsp almond extract
½ tsp salt
2 cups flour
Raspberry preserves


  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Roll into balls and push down with thumb.
  3. Fill with jelly. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
