Apple Goodie

Sliced apples coated in cinnamon and brown sugar, layered in the bottom of a jelly-roll pan, and baked with an oatmeal and brown sugar crust on top.

2 lbs baking apples, pared, sliced and coated in brown sugar and cinnamon
3/4 cup oatmeal
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup butter


  1. Layer the bottom of an 8X10X2-inch jelly-roll pan with the coated, sliced apples.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients.
  3. Blend butter in like pie crust. Spread over raw apples.
  4. Bake until apples are done.
