1 envelope gelatin
1/3 cup boiling water
2 cups heavy cream
1/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup cold strong coffee
Whipped cream for garnish
- Dissolve the gelatin in boiling water and set aside to cool.
- Whip the cream until it is stiff, folding in the sugar and coffee.
- Add the cooled gelatin to the whipped cream mixture and pour it into a mold or individual serving dishes. Chill it until set.
- Garnish with whipped cream. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
