½ cup butter, softened
½ cup shortening
1 ½ cups sugar
2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp cream of tarter
1 tsp soda
¼ tsp salt
2 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
- Heat oven to 400 degrees.
- Mix thoroughly butter, shortening, 1 ½ cup sugar and eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tarter, soda, and salt.
- Shape dough by rounding teaspoons into balls.
- Mix 2 Tbsp of sugar and the cinnamon. Roll balls in mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Makes 6 dozen.
